What power supply does the reader need?

ZKTeco currently specifies a 9VDC to 24VDC power-supply range. The installer should still calculate voltage drop over the cable run and confirm how the reader will be powered within the complete access-control design. If the reader is being added to an existing controller cabinet, verify spare power capacity before connecting additional door hardware.

The FR1200 is primarily a controller-connected biometric reader, so it is not the right choice when the requirement is a complete standalone attendance terminal with its own display, local menus and enrollment workflow. In that case, ask FourTeck to review a suitable ZKTeco attendance or standalone access terminal based on user count, reporting needs and door-control requirements.
